How to Get Your Motivation Back
Once you find a goal, you get that boost of excitement. 🤩 Out of a sudden you turn into a workaholic. You advance. Slowly but surely. Some people encourage you. Some don’t. You’re satisfied… until you’re not. Or maybe you take a break and then you simply can’t get back on track.
But your idea was… amazing. You still know that because of the constant reminders you receive. What’s left to do?😶
Before I get into the tips, I feel the need to share this: While doing some research on goals, I found an idea and I thought I’d share it with you. In order to find a meaningful goal, you need to ask yourself one question: How would I like to be remembered?
A GOAL is not ideal unless others can benefit from it as well. Invest part of your time in something that matters both for yourself and for others.✨
IMPORTANT: Try to maintain the balance between hard work and personal core values. 🌟 Keep your friends close and make sure you always cherish the time spent with others.😊
How to Get Your Motivation Back
YOUR Main Reason
There must have been something that moved you inside. A moment or a thought that led to your goal. 🌟 What was it? Don’t forget why you started! ✨ Write it down and place it somewhere where you can easily see it.
Remember The Feeling
If you’ve been motivated before, that’s great! Close your eyes and try to go back to that moment.😌 Try to experience the feeling of productivity and bring it back. Think of what you were doing and how. What emotions did you have? Why were those moments so unbelievably beautiful? Search for that thing that made you productive.💪
You know best what works for you. Working in a productive environment does wonders. It all depends on your preferences: tidy/messy, bedroom/ living room, on your bed/at your desk/on the floor. Silent background/Music on blast/ Coffee Shop murmurs. There are no limits. Test the options out.💓
Track Your Progress
This is something I also need to work on. Having milestones changes the whole game.😉 You’d know how far you’ve come and all the things you need to change. Having your own record makes you more aware of your commitment.😏
Take a Break
I believe many people stress so much over not doing anything productive, that they end up doing nothing. Give yourself a break. 🙃Gather new forces and give it a try tomorrow. If that does’t work either, there’s always the next day. ✨The important thing is that you keep on trying! There is this advice writers get when going through writer’s block: Write it down. Having a bad draft is always better than having nothing at all. Drafts can be improved. Same goes for you.😉
Surround yourself with like-minded people. Keep your interest up!
You want to be surrounded by the those who get you. People who believe in your journey and never try to bring you down.🌟
Keep yourself interested in the domain. With your laptop in front of you, there are no limits. Follow people who you admire. Read about their journeys.🤩
Remember: You have it inside
Such a cliché. I know. 😋 But it’s true, only you can stop yourself. It starts and ends with your decision.
So what will you do today?
